Sonar
Last updated: March 19, 2024
Sonar allows various parts of the Dashboard to be updated in realtime (no browser refresh needed!).
What parts of the Dashboard are automatically updated?
With Sonar, all of the following will auto-update when changes are made to them:
- Booking overview
- Contact information at the top of a booking
- Availability overview
- Booking display on the manifest
- Any object’s activity log
- iOS & Android app scanned booking details
What gets auto-updated when a new booking is made?
- Bookings calendar
- Day, Agenda, and Grid views
- Recent bookings view
- Availability overview
- Manifest
- Lighthouse + cloud friend!
Refresh
If something gets updated while you’re editing it (for example, a custom field answer is edited on a booking while you’re adding a booking note), you will see a “refresh” message at the top of the page.

Clicking Refresh will discard your changes and update the booking (or manifest, etc.). If you happen to be updating the same object (custom field, booking note, etc.) as another user and save your changes instead of clicking Refresh, your changes will override the changes made by the other user.
Note: Sonar is not to be confused with Radar (a.k.a. “real-time indicator”), which shows you when someone else is looking at a booking:
