In the Appearance section on the left, look for logos on the top. This is the small icon displayed in browser tabs and bookmarks. You can find this at the bottom of logos! You can also access this through Settings > General Settings
- Importance of Site Icon: The site icon is a key element for branding and user experience, as it visually represents your site in browser tabs, bookmarks, and mobile device home screens. A clear, recognizable site icon helps visitors find and recognize your site more easily.
To update the site icon, click Select Site Icon. Choose an image that’s at least 512 x 512 pixels for best results. If you don’t have an icon image yet, you can create one by resizing your logo or choosing an icon that represents your brand.
6. Preview and adjust:
After uploading, you may see options to resize or crop the images. Check the real-time preview to ensure both the logo and site icon look as you want.
7. Publish changes:
Click Publish at the top of the Customizer or theme options panel to save your changes.
Both the logo and site icon are now updated, and your WordPress site should have a cohesive brand identity!
