Drip/Zapier Integration vs. TourAdvantage™
Last updated: October 8, 2020
1. Opportunities with the Drip/Zapier integration
Move an email address, name, telephone number from FareHarbor to Drip for people that book.
Tag that email address with what they just purchased.
-> Many will find even this basic functionality a bit difficult to do because the client will have to parse the data coming in.
2. Opportunities/Differences with TourAdvantage™
-> If clients are interested in learning more about TourAdvantage™ or want a one-on-one demo, please introduce them to TourAdvantage™ directly at info@sunstonedigitalmarketing.com.
With TourAdvantage™, clients will be able to:
Move detailed booking/item level information from FareHarbor to create an “order” in the email marketing system. This info includes:
- The primary item in the booking
- Quantity of tickets purchased
- The customer type used (adult, child, etc)
- Any add-ons included in the booking, like a photo package or merchandise
- The affiliate/OTA
- The availability start date and time and availability end date and time
The ability to trigger automated email marketing campaigns based on the date the booking was placed
AND/OR
the availability start and end date times. This allows the client to automate campaigns in the sweet spot between the time the customers book and the time they visit. This could be any number of days before the tour, on the day of the tour down to the hour of the start time/end time, and any number of days after.
Triggering campaigns based on the date/time of the tour also allows for Social Media Check-In Campaigns and review requests.
Custom Field questions and responses. If you ask the question “What’s your relationship to Puerto Rico?” during the booking process, TourAdvantage™ can move the response to those questions to the email marketing system, allowing for better segmentation.
Track the approximate revenue generated for each of your campaigns.
Browse abandonment – send an email that says something like “We noticed you were checking out our snorkeling page. Is there anything we can help with?” But DO NOT send these emails if and when they purchase.
Upsell campaigns for add-ons, with a coupon code if they do not purchase. And most importantly, stop these campaigns when they purchase. (You don’t want to send a 10% off promotion to someone who has already purchased at full price).
Handle all re-bookings from FareHarbor, so these do not look like brand new bookings in the email marketing client.
