Printing receipts from a booking
Note: The following steps will be easiest to follow if you are using Google Chrome as your web browser. If you are using a different browser, some of the steps below may vary (for example, More settings may instead be called Preferences).
- Open the customer’s booking
- Under Booking actions, click Print
- Select Receipt Format and choose the receipt type you’d like to print
- In the print preview, make sure that the Destination is set to your ticket printer
- Click More settings and confirm that your settings match the following:
- Layout: Portrait
- Paper size: 72mm x 200mm
- Margins: None
- Click Print
Note: Depending on the browser and printer you’re using, you may need to adjust the settings above before your receipts print as desired. See the FAQs and Troubleshooting section below for more information.
Printing receipts from the manifest
You can also print receipts for all bookings on an availability from the manifest.
- Go to your Manifest
- Set your filters as needed
- Locate the availability and click Print all to open the print menu
- Choose the type of receipt you want to print
- Click Print
Note: Receipts are sorted by the contact name on the booking. To reverse the sort, click on the count at the top of the list (for example, “3 bookings” or “9 tickets”).

FAQs and Troubleshooting
I have a Boca ticket printer. Can I print receipts on my tickets instead?
Yes! From the customer’s booking or order, click Print, then choose the Boca Format option. Here you can print all tickets and payment receipts at once (“Tickets + all payment receipts”), or individual payment receipts (“$X.XX paid with…”). Learn more about printing Boca tickets and receipts.
How do I get rid of the “Page 1 of 1” text on my receipts?
Make sure to uncheck the Print headers & footers box in the print settings. In Chrome, you can find this option by clicking More settings in the print preview window.
Why don’t my receipts look right?
If your receipts are printing incorrectly, try using Google Chrome as your web browser, and make sure that your print settings match the following:
- Destination: your receipt printer (this may be set to a different printer by default)
- Layout: Portrait
- Paper size: 72mm x 200mm
- Margins: None
- Headers and footers: disabled
If you’ve tried the above settings and are still having trouble, contact FareHarbor Support to troubleshoot further.
Can I change the way my receipts look?
Yes – there are several ways to customize your receipts. See Customizing receipts for all available options.
The printer is not cutting between receipts, help!
First, make sure that the driver software for your printer has been installed. Even if your computer prints without it, the driver software gives your computer access to printer-specific functions, like the ability to cut receipts.
If you’ve already installed the driver software, you may need to enable printer-specific settings using the Print dialog. See below for instructions on how to do this.
For Mac:
- From the print preview window, select Print using system dialog…
- Click the dropdown menu that says Layout, and select Printer Features
- Directly below the Printer Features menu, click into the Feature Sets dropdown and select Cut Options
- Make sure that the Page Cut Type and Document Cut Type are set to Partial Cut
For Windows:
- From the print preview window, select Print using system dialog…
- Click Preferences button
- From the Printing Preferences page, click the Advanced button
- Under Printer Features, make sure that Output Bin is set to Normal Mode
Internal-only content. Don't copy and paste to anyone.
Troubleshooting printer and browser setups
When troubleshooting receipt printing, remember that the print preview should be an accurate representation of what the receipts look like when printed. So, you can keep experimenting with layout, paper size, margins until it looks correct in the preview, then try printing.
Chrome is usually the best browser option for receipt printing, because you can fine-tune with custom margins.
