Deleting availabilities

Deleting an availability will remove it from your online and backend calendars, and cannot be undone. Before deleting an availability, all bookings on the availability must be either cancelled or rebooked.
You can delete a single availability by opening it and going to Settings > Delete. Or, to delete multiple availabilities at once, use the availability updater. For detailed steps on how to delete availabilities, see the sections below.
Tip: To remove an availability from your online calendar but keep its existing bookings, change the availability’s online booking status to Closed & hidden. That way, the availability will be hidden from online customers, but will remain visible in your Dashboard with all previously-made bookings.
Deleting a single availability

- Click on the availability and select Open settings.
- Click the Settings button (located under Availability actions).
- Click Delete this availability.
- Click OK to confirm.
Deleting multiple availabilities at once
Use the availability updater to delete multiple availabilities at once. This tool can be accessed from the Bookings section of your Dashboard (if updating availabilities across multiple items) or from an individual item’s calendar.
Note: In this example, we are accessing the availability updater from the Bookings section of the Dashboard.
Navigate to Bookings.
Select Advanced > Update availabilities on the toolbar.

Select Availabilities in the first section.
Choose which availabilities to delete in the next section by adjusting the date range and items. If needed, you can also narrow down your selection using filters. Read more about these options.
Select Remove.
Scroll down and click Preview changes to confirm the number of availabilities that will be deleted.
Click Remove availabilities.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I see the message “This update would not affect any availabilities”?
If you’re seeing this message, double-check that you’ve entered all information correctly in the previous steps. This most frequently occurs when the date range or start time has been set incorrectly. Make any needed adjustments, then click the preview button again.
How do I delete “All day” or “Day range” availabilities?
To delete “All day” or “Day range” availabilities, use the Starting between and Ending between filters, and enter “12:00am” (or “0:00”) in each box. If needed, use the Current length in hours filter to specify availabilities by their length.
Why am I still seeing availabilities that I tried to delete?
There may be several reasons for this. When deleting multiple availabilities at once, it’s important to note that availabilities with bookings on them will not be deleted. Instead, they will be marked Closed & Hidden. To completely delete the availabilities, you will need to cancel or rebook any associated bookings, then complete the steps above.
If you’re still seeing availabilities that you tried to delete, try repeating the steps above and double-check the date range, items, and filters. Or, delete the availability directly from its settings.
