Updating default email settings
Last updated: May 9, 2022
When logged into your Dashboard, you have the option to send email notifications to customers when creating, rebooking, or cancelling a booking.

You can choose to send these notifications on a per-customer basis, or enable them automatically by default. For example, if you always want to send a confirmation email to customers without having to worry about selecting the “Send confirmation email” option, you can automate this process in your Dashboard Settings.
Updating default email settings
To edit your default email settings:
- Go to the Settings section of your Dashboard.
- Click the gear
icon in the upper right of the Changelog. - Open the Bookings section.
- Check the box next to the emails you want to enable or disable by default.
Click Save.

Options
- Send confirmation email by default: The “Send confirmation email” option will be checked by default when a customer’s email address is entered on a new booking.
- Send rebooked email by default: The “Send rebooked email” option will be checked by default when rebooking a customer.
- Send cancellation email by default: The “Send cancellation email” option will be checked by default when cancelling a booking.
Notes
If “Send confirmation email by default” is enabled and a customer’s email address isn’t entered when creating a booking, an email will not be sent.
If “Send rebooked email by default” or “Send cancellation email by default” is enabled there is no email address attached to the booking, you will still have the option to manually send a rebooked or cancellation notification.
