Feature Overview and Value Proposition
Xero Integration is a powerful 3rd party integration that gives our clients the ability to push bookings, payments, and payout transaction data from FareHarbor to Xero.
- Bookings: A booking creation in FareHarbor platform, will create an invoice in Xero with all relevant data
- Payments: Tracking of payment activities into the Xero dashboard
- Payouts: The integrations will show the money released by FareHarbor, to the client and where the payout is going to
This brings a lot of value to both our clients and FareHarbor.
Value for Clients:
- Automate Data Sync: Effortlessly transfer transaction details, invoices, and payments directly into Xero
- Streamline Reconciliation: Reduce manual entry and ensure your accounts stay accurate and up to date
- Boost Efficiency: Spend less time on bookkeeping and more time growing your business

How to Map FareHarbor and Xero
It is possible to sync Xero and FareHarbor items through the process of mapping. When FareHarbor items are mapped to Xero items and the client gets a FareHarbor booking for that item, that booking will come into Xero as an invoice.
This is all done in Settings > Integrations > Xero.
Users will need to map the following: Contact, Bank account in FareHarbor, Revenue account, Bank account, and all applicable Items (users may need to create additional accounts in Xero to ensure this integration works as expected).
What Gets Pushed to Xero
The invoice will show the following:
- Customer: FareHarbor
- Invoice number: Per the account settings in Xero
- Invoice date: date when the availability will/has happened
- Item: The name of the Item in Xero
- Description: Includes the FareHarbor Booking ID
- Payment date: date when company received payment
- Product / Service: the item that is mapped
- Total amount (inclusive of tax)
The Bank accounts section will show the statement balance and the balance in Xero.
