How do I change the message displayed for sold out availabilities?
Last updated: June 28, 2022
By default, when an availability is full or closed, it will be shown in your online calendar with a “call to book” message.

If you want to customize this message to say, for example, “Sold Out,” you can update the Online Bookability settings for each item in your Dashboard. Watch a short video or follow the steps below to customize this message.
- Go to the Items section of your Dashboard and select the item you want to update.
- Select Bookability (located under Online Booking).
- In the Booking Restrictions table, check the box at the bottom of the fourth column.
- Enter your custom message.
- Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
- Repeat steps 1-5 for each item you want to update.

Triggering “Call to book” or “Sold out” message on empty availabilities
Sometimes companies want to display a “Call to book” or “Sold out” message on availabilities even if they’re not operating on that day. To do this, change the availability’s total capacity to 0. Because the total capacity of 0 is now considered “full,” the availability will close and the “full or overbooked” message will be automatically shown to online customers.
