How to enable Fotaflo
Last updated: October 23, 2024
If the client has a question about the connection that can best be answered by the partner, either encourage them to contact their account representative or their support team at info@fotaflo.com.
Affiliate Dashboard Setup
Fotaflo sends email campaigns on behalf of our clients. To better track the campaigns, we provide Fotaflo booking links and an affiliate dashboard.
- Add Fotaflo as an Affiliate to the charter company’s dashboard. Full instructions are found here.
- Make sure that you select: Online Price Sheet, 0% Commission, Charging Card, No voucher required, and Show Prices in emails.
- When that is done, provide Fotaflo with an ASN booking link (remember to choose Fotaflo as the affiliate) from the Charter company’s dashboard. Full direction here
- Add the Shortname and ASN booking link to the “Fotaflo ASN Link” Airtable here.
Webhook Setup
Here are the steps to enable the Fotaflo integration in a client’s Dashboard. All we need from the client in order to initiate this process is their confirmation that they are working with Fotaflo and would like to become integrated. Clients should be directing this request to FareHarbor Support – but setting this up is easy and anyone can do it.
From the client’s Dashboard, go to Settings > Users & Permissions and create a new user called “Fotaflo.” Give this user the highest permission group available.

Within the settings of that new “Fotaflo” user, navigate to the API Keys tab. Add a new API Key, and name it “Fotaflo Webhook.”

Click Edit on that new API Key. On this Edit page, you’ll see a blank field for a Webhook URL. Paste the following URL into that field, and then hit Save. Fotaflo’s Webhook URL will be the same for every FareHarbor client:
https://FareHarbor:kdfG2iap0EZK0Uji@2.fotaflo.com/reservations/fareharborThe Webhook URL is essentially the address where Fotaflo will receive the client’s booking details. Once this URL is plugged in, the webhook is immediately activated, and Fotaflo will begin receiving the booking details for any and every booking created on this Dashboard, in real-time.
Once this is done, you can send an email back to the client, with Fotaflo Customer Success CC’d (Hailey: hailey@fotaflo.com), to confirm the integration has been enabled on the FareHarbor end.
Hi _______,
Thank you for getting in touch. We have enabled the Fotaflo integration on your FareHarbor Dashboard.
Please let us know if we can assist with anything else.
Once we enable it and inform the client and Fotaflo, it is Fotaflo’s responsibility to complete the integration and confirm that it is live in Fotaflo.
Enable existing bookings for Fotaflo by following this step from the Wherewolf enablement.
How to check if the Fotaflo Webhook is active in a Dashboard
- Check to see if they have a “Fotaflo” User, and check that the Webhook URL in their API key matches the Fotaflo Webhook URL pasted above.
- Webhook activity will also show within the history of each individual booking in that Dashboard. For example, after a booking is created, the next event in that booking history should read: External API Booking Webhook request succeeded (Fotaflo: Fotaflo Webhook)

- Note: All webhook activities on a booking are visible to Admins only.
