Icons – The Noun Project
The FH.me team has a subscription with The Noun Project because it will let us use any of their 3 million + icons without attribution and edit the color, background, and shape.
How do I request to add new icons to the list?
- Use the Idea Box, and list out the icons.
- All of our icons come from the Noun Project site, so you may list the links of specific icons you want from there. OR you can list the general name of the icons you are requesting (ex: eyeglasses).
How do I add icons to the site’s media to include them in the site’s body?
- Use The Noun Project Icons
- Log in by using the credentials in Keeper under the Shared-Support folder: The Noun Project
- Download the icon(s) you want from the NounProject site as a PNG to upload it to a FHS.
Icon Shortcode
You can also use the Icon Shortcode for the Icons already part of the theme/template.
For example [icon icon=”hot-air-balloon”] in a wsywig to display on a page:
