Definitions of the terms
Peak Season
The Total volume (based on availability date) of each season (i.e 3 months) is summed. The season with the highest sum is considered the Peak Season. Note: because this is based on availability date, this is the companies peak season of when they receive the highest volume in all types of bookings not FareHarbor’s peak season for a company (based on payment date, i.e. when FH receives the most BF).
For clients that have been live less than one year, this is filled out by onboarding with information given from the client. For clients who have been live longer than one year, this is updated monthly based on the previous years data.
“Year Round” Season
A company is defined as Year Round if the difference between the season with the highest payment volume and season with the lowest payment volume is less than 25% difference. A company is also considered Year Round if they have 3 peak seasons (the total volume of each season has a difference of less than 10%).
Peak Holiday
A peak holiday performer is a company that produces more than 25% of their annual TTV (Total Transaction Value; all bookings) within a specific time frame of a holiday. There are two parts of the calculation: specific holiday words in the item title and a requirement of more than 25% annual TTV within the time frame. The holidays calculated are 4th of July, Christmas and Halloween.
