Changing capacity

An availability’s total capacity refers to the maximum number of people, tickets, or options that can be booked on an availability. You can also manage capacity for individual customer types, if needed.
Note: If you also have resources set up on your Dashboard, be aware that changing an availability’s total capacity will not automatically adjust its available resources. You may need to update your resource settings as well. Learn more about resources.
Total capacity can be changed for a single availability or multiple availabilities at once. Click into each section below for more details.
Changing capacity for a single availability
- Find and open the desired availability.
- Click the Settings button.
- Under Total capacity, enter your new capacity.
- Click Save changes.
Changing capacity for multiple availabilities at once
Go to the Bookings section of your Dashboard.
From the toolbar, open the Advanced menu and select Update availabilities: (Note: to access the updater from a specific item, follow these steps instead)

In the first section, select Capacity.
In the second section, choose which availabilities to update by adjusting the date range and items. If needed, you can narrow down further using the available filters. Read more about these options.
In the third section, enter the new capacity.
Click Preview changes to confirm the number of availabilities that will be changed.
Click Complete update.
Notes
During the Preview changes step, you’ll see a message telling you how many availabilities will be changed. If no availabilities will be affected, double check that you’ve selected the correct options, make any needed adjustments, then click the Preview button again.
