Archiving price schedules
Last updated: December 8, 2020
If a price schedule is no longer in use, you can hide it on your Dashboard by archiving it. Archiving helps to manage price schedules that aren’t in use while ensuring that no previous booking information is lost.
Before archiving a price schedule, please note the following important information:
- You cannot archive a price schedule if it is currently used as the company default.
- You cannot archive a price schedule if it is currently used by one or more affiliates.
Price schedules that are associated with a link or embed on your website will still be used when a customer books through the related link. If you do not want customers to be able to book with an archived price schedule, be sure to remove the schedule from all links or embeds on your website.
Tip: In the Options section of the embed generator tool, go to Advanced settings and refer to the “Pricing” field.
Archiving a price schedule
- Go to the Settings section of your Dashboard.
- Select Price Sheets.
- Select the Price Schedules tab.
- Select Edit » next to the price schedule you want to archive.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Check the Archived box.
- Save your changes.
Viewing archived price schedules
To view your archived price schedules, navigate to the Settings section of your Dashboard, select the Price Sheets tab, then the Price Schedules tab. Open the advanced settings menu (look for the gear icon) and select Show archived. Archived price schedules will be located at the bottom of the list by default.
Important notes
In your Dashboard, archived price schedules will be hidden in most places except where they are currently in use. Anywhere you see an in-use archived price schedule (such as within an embed you created), it will be clearly marked with an “(archived)” note.
If you remove an archived price schedule from Pricing settings, you will not be able to re-select the archived price schedule from the dropdown.
You can always unarchive a price schedule, if needed. To do this, go to the archived price schedule by following these steps and unchecking the Archived box.
Internal-only content. Don't copy and paste to anyone.
In general, an archived price schedule will still be visible if it’s still in use (like on the settings for an embed). However, in most cases, archived price schedules won’t be visible since they usually cannot be archived in the first place if they are in use (see the important notes at the top of the client-facing section).
