Important notice:
Universal Analytics has been discontinued and no longer collects data. However, you can access historical data until July 2024, after which time Google will permanently remove the Universal Analytics property from Google Analytics accounts.
All client-facing GA4 help pages, including setup and configuration instructions for GA4 in FareHarbor are described here.
There can be more than one affiliate GA4 measurement ID on a charter company’s Dashboard, in order to track conversions on each website where the FareHarbor Dashboard is integrated. This help page shows how to properly set up conversion tracking with GA4 for affiliates.
Set up affiliate purchase conversion tracking on a FareHarbor charter Dashboard
For affiliates not on a FH website that you and/or the affiliate are interested in tracking data in Google Analytics to see how the site is performing.
- Ask for the affiliate’s GA4 measurement ID (example:
G-W63SD6GY6Y). (Note: if they do not yet have a GA4 account, suggest that they create one.) - Add this measurement ID to the Charter’s Dashboard under Analytics & Tracking > Google Analytics 4 (GA4) type.
- Add in the SKU Affiliate – SN (example: Affiliate – abctoursreseller).
- Check the box for Calendar, item grid, or book button is added to multiple websites. When this checkbox is enabled, the affiliate will receive purchase events that have taken place only on their own website:

- Once this has been added, add a note in the charter’s Close lead that an affiliate’s GA4 account has been added to the Dashboard.
Capabilities
- Charter’s company FH Dashboard will send pageviews and purchase events to the affliate’s GA4 account.
- Online bookings will populate the Monetization reports of the affiliate’s Google Analytics account.
- Affiliates only have access to bookings that they have generated on their own website. The affiliate won’t see the charter’s company data.
