Talking Points
Is my client’s country supported on FareHarbor?
It is important that the processing country (which is the country used for Dashboard creation) be determined based on where the business is registered/incorporated and the bank account must be physically located in the country supporting the selected currency.
- For example: USD paid to a bank account based in the USA. GBP paid to a bank account based in the UK, AUD to a bank account based in Australia, EUR to a bank account based in one of the supported countries within the European Economic Area.
Does FareHarbor support currency conversions?
The selected currency will be displayed to end-users and will also be used as the Company’s payout currency. FareHarbor does not support the conversion of currencies.
- For example: A company that operates in Mexico can’t display their prices to customers in USD and then be paid out in MXN Pesos.
Does FareHarbor support card readers (payment terminals) in my client’s country?
Card readers are available in certain countries, based on our payment providers’ Payment Terminal capabilities. The table below includes only countries where card readers are available and LIVE or being tested (Beta).
