Setting up a Slack-Airtable Integration

First, create a private Slack channel for your use. Name it yourname-airtable.

Then, set up the integration in Airtable (see video below).
- Log in to Airtable.
- If you have more than one base, navigate to the base you want to set up notifications for (example: FHS, Custom Reports, etc.).
- At the top-middle of the screen, click on the dropdown next to the Base name and select Slack notifications.
- Click Add a Slack notification rule (if you don’t see this button, skip to the next step).
- Select your base and click Add to Slack.
- In the “Post to” dropdown, choose the private Slack channel you created in Step 1 and click Authorize.
- In the “What activity would you like to receive updates for” dropdown, change the answer to “Updates to records visible in a view”.
- In the “Which view would you like to receive updates for” dropdown, choose the Airtable view that is tailored to your projects.
- Click Done.
