Deleting an item

Note: Items that have past or future bookings attached to them cannot be deleted, as this can cause discrepancies with your reporting. For this reason, we recommend either archiving inactive items or making them private.

Making an item private will remove it from your online booking calendar, but keep it visible in your Dashboard for staff members to book. This is useful if you still want to be able to book the item internally, or if you want to keep any future bookings on the item. How to make an item private ›
In some cases, it is preferred to completely delete an item from your Dashboard (for example, a test item with no bookings). To do this, follow the steps below.
Deleting an item
Remember, you will not be able to delete an item if it has bookings attached to it. Even if the bookings are test bookings, you’ll need to first cancel the bookings before you can delete the item.
To delete an unused item:
- Go to the Items section of your Dashboard.
- Choose the item you wish to delete.
- Go to Info & Policies > Advanced.
- Click the Delete button.
- In the pop-up box, confirm by clicking OK.
