Round Share
Last updated: October 7, 2024
Create additional income for your business using the Round Share feature. This feature rounds the total price of the booking to the next whole dollar via the online booking fee.
Any extra revenue collected from Round Share is shared between your business and FareHarbor.
Feature overview
When Round Share is enabled, the booking’s total price, including any applicable taxes and fees, is rounded up to the next whole dollar for all eligible online transactions.
Additional cents charged will be included in the Fees section of the price breakdown, so customers will see and pay the rounded total price at checkout. Your item pricing and taxes will remain unchanged.
Fee amounts are always in USD.
Example scenario
An activity’s price is $120.00. Without Round Share enabled, taxes and fees bring the total price to $127.20.
When Round Share is enabled, an additional $0.80 is collected via the online booking fee. This adjustment rounds the final price paid by the customer to $128.00.
Limitations
Round Share won’t apply to any bookings that:
- Are not booked online
- Have the minimum booking fee total ($1.00)
- Utilize deposit payments
- Are paid via payment link
- Use PayPal for the transaction.
- Are paid in full with gift cards (Note: Bookings paid partially with a gift card can be eligible for rounded pricing, in which case the remaining total price will be rounded up to the next whole dollar.)
