Waitlist Feature kit

Feature Overview and Value Proposition
When an activity is fully booked, customers can sign up for the waitlist. Dashboard users can configure the waitlist by Item and view waitlisted customers on the Dashboard in real time. When customers join the waitlist, they provide:
- # of each customer types
- Contact details (Name, phone, and email)
- Marketing consent for text & email
- If the customer is flexible or not (open to other times/days)
Value Proposition
- This feature enables operators to capture booking demand beyond capacity, maximizing sales opportunities and filling cancellations with high-intent bookers.
- The waitlist also improves the customer experience by providing greater booking flexibility and reducing friction when availability is limited.
- Finally, the insights from waitlists can help operators better allocate their resources to meet customer demand.

Users will need the permission to Manage booking restrictions to add a waitlist to an item or Dashboard-board level booking restriction

For accessing performance of waitlists, we have a tableau report (tab signups and bookings).
- Filter it by a shortname and you’ll see the conversion, number of bookings, and TTV.

Best Practices
- Do not use both a hack solution for waitlist and the official functionality.
- Currently, if a client needs to add someone to a waitlist, they should have the customer do it themselves online or the client can go online to add the customer themselves.
