Testimonials

Select the testimonials tab on the Wordpress Menu.

In this tab you will see all the created testimonials or an empty page if no testimonial has been created yet.

Select the ‘Add Testimonial’ button, shown in the top of the page next to the title ‘Testimonials.’

This will lead to a new page with fields to add the content and background for the testimonial as seen in the video below.

• Image: Adds an image to the testimonial card. We recommend using your logo!

• Rating: Show what the rating was left from the testimonial. We recommend always displaying 5 star testimonials

• Testimonial Title: The title of the testimonial card. We recommend using a key phrase included in the testimonial.

• Testimonial Subtitle: This will show below the title of the testimonial card.

• Testimonial Text: The content of the review.

• Attribution: Add the source of the testimonial and the person’s first name and first initial of their last name. Such as John S, Google Review

• Have, at the minimum, 4 reviews each containing a review, an attribution, a rating, and either a title or image.

• It is best if you have all elements mentioned above, but always strive to have four out the five elements.

Select the title of the Testimonial in the ‘All Testimonials’ section OR hover over the title of the testimonial and select ‘Edit’.

Select the testimonial and then select ‘Move to Trash’ (next to the Update button) OR hover over the title and select ‘Trash’.

There are two ways to add testimonials – by Row or by Block.

Row

1. Navigate to the page where you want the testimonials to display

2. Select ‘Add Row’

1. Add the ‘Testimonials’ row

2. Under the ‘Filter By’ field:

   • Select ‘All Testimonials’ to add all testimonials from the Testimonials section

   • OR select ‘Manual Selection’ to choose and add specific testimonials from the Testimonials section

3. Click ‘Update’ in the publish section to update the page

Block

Blocks can be added within Multi-Colum Rows

1. Navigate to the page where you want the testimonials to display

2. Add a Multi-Column Row or find the existing Multi-Column Row you want to add the Testimonials Block to

3. Select ‘Add Block’ and choose ‘Testimonials’

4. Add the ‘Testimonials’ block

5. Under the ‘Filter By’ field

   • Select ‘All Testimonials’ to add all testimonials from the Testimonials section

   • OR select ‘Manual Selection’ to choose and add specific testimonials from the Testimonials section

6. Click ‘Update’ in the publish section to update the page

Testimonials can be displayed on a specific Activity page to show customers reviews as they are looking through the details of an activity.

1. Navigate to the activity where you want the testimonials to display

2. Find the ‘Extra Blocks’ tab in the second row of tabs on the activity

1. Select ‘Add Block’ and choose ‘Testimonials’

2. Add the ‘Testimonials’ block

   • We always recommend adding testimonials below all other important information on the page. By default, Extra Blocks will be added under the content added on the ‘Description’ tab of the activity.

3. Under the ‘Filter By’ field

   • Select ‘All Testimonials’ to add all testimonials from the Testimonials section

   • OR select ‘Manual Selection’ to choose and add specific testimonials from the Testimonials section

4. Click ‘Update’ in the publish section to update the activity
