Affiliate Booking Options Overview

There are a variety of different ways affiliate bookings can be made in FareHarbor. Some options are more manual, some are more automatic. Regardless of how the affiliates book, all bookings will always be tagged as coming from the affiliate.
Affiliates will always need to have their own contracts with the charter companies. FareHarbor does not facilitate these contracts.
The affiliate booking options are outlined below, but also check out this video if you’re a visual learner! This video can also be sent to clients.
Direct Tagging
Since the charter company has a list of their affiliates built in their dashboard, they may access that list within a booking form, and “tag” a specific affiliate to a specific booking. When the charter is making the booking, they can go to the Affiliate dropdown menu in the top-left of the book form, and select the affiliate who referred that booking to them. Once the affiliate is selected, the booking will reflect any custom rates or invoice prices that are assigned to that specific affiliate.
This option is used when Affiliate ABC calls in a booking over the phone, and Charter XYZ has to manually enter that booking into FareHarbor – any they want to identify that this booking came from Affiliate ABC.

– Affiliates who have websites or hotels who send out pre-arrival emails
– Online Resellers who do not have their own book form
– FareHarbor Tour operators confirmation emails

– Affiliates who do not have to collect payment at the time of booking
– Affiliates who have brochures, flyers, or magazines (QR code)
– Non API or OTA affiliates
