Saving a report

Once you’ve set up a report with the date range, filters, and display settings that you want, you can save your preferences with a few simple clicks. Saved reports allow you to easily access a collection of report settings without having to re-apply them every time.
You can save any advanced report—whether it’s a suggested report or a report you’ve created from scratch—using the Saved reports menu from the toolbar. Other reports, like Contacts and Revenue by Type, are meant to be run a specific way and therefore won’t include the saved reports menu.

Saving a report
First, you’ll want to generate a report with your preferred settings. You can do this by either creating a new advanced report from scratch, or editing a suggested report. Learn how to generate an advanced report.
Once you’re happy with your settings, you’re ready to save the report. Watch a short demo video or follow the steps below.
- Open the Saved reports menu.
- Click New saved report.
- Enter a name for your report.
- Optional: Add a note.
- Click the Create button.
Your saved report will automatically be added to the list. If you are saving a new version of a suggested report, it will be shown under Saved reports, and the original suggested report will keep its pre-set settings.
Tip: You can reorder saved reports using the
icon. For example, keep your most-often used reports at the top of the list, or arrange reports alphabetically.
Viewing a saved report
Saved reports are organized by type. For example, if you saved a Customers report, you would find it by going to the Reports section of your Dashboard, then selecting Customers from the menu. Click on a saved report to view it.

When viewing a report, you can also access saved reports from its toolbar. For example, when viewing a saved Bookings report, all other saved Bookings reports will be shown in the Saved reports menu. The report you’re currently viewing will be highlighted in blue.

To go back to the main reports menu, click Report type from the toolbar.
Editing a saved report
You can save changes you’ve made to an existing report by clicking the edit
icon next to the report name, checking the box “Update to current settings on save,” then re-saving the report.
- Open the report you want to edit.
- Edit your settings as needed (learn about these options).
- Open the Saved reports menu and click the edit
icon next to the name of your report. - Optional: Edit the name or note.
- Check the box next to Update to current settings on save.
- Click the Save button.
Tip: You do not need to generate the report to save its settings. However, if you want to preview what the updated report will look like, you can generate it before saving.
