About Timed Activities

Timed Activities are activities that have a date range and a fallback activity. Adding timing to an activity is ideal for one-time events, holidays or seasonal activities.

How to Set Up Timed Activities

• Visit the Timing tab on the backend of the desired activity.
• Check the “Timed activities will appear on grids/featured activity rows on the site ONLY during the selected date range” checkbox
• Fill in the required Fallback Activity, and Timed Activity Date Rangefields
• Note: You can select more than one date range: Date ranges are defined and added in company settings)

How to Use

• Add the timed activity to any of these blocks:
  • Single Activity Block
  • Activity Slide
  • Featured Activity
  • Activity Grid
  • Related Activities
• The activity will appear during its assigned date range(s) and the fallback activity will appear all other times

Best Practices and Placement of Timed Activities

• Please do not use a timed activity in Jumbotron Row; instead feature a best-selling activity in this prime webpage spot
• Please avoid placing the activity in a drop-down menu
