How do I update the tags for an activity block?

The tags (also known as taxonomies) are details that are related to your items and featured on the activity blocks. The activity blocks are the items featured in a square across your site (usually on the homepage or all activities page) with the starting price, description, and the Book Now and Learn More buttons. The tags are featured on the bottom left corner on the image of the activity block. Example of an Activity Block below:
1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard
- Go to your WordPress login page and enter your username and password. You can access this by adding /edit or /wp-admin to the end of your domain. Instructions regarding how to login can be found on this help page.
2. Navigate to Activities
- From the left menu navigation on your Wordpress dashboard, navigate to the Activities section, and select the Activity that you want to update the tags/taxonomies for.
3. Select the Taxonomies tab on the desired Activity Page
Once you select the Activity that you want to update the tags for, navigate to the Taxonomies tab.
Select or add a checkmark for the tag that you want to be displayed on your activity block for this item.
4. Update and add to activity blocks
- Once you select the Update option, the tags will be added to your activity blocks on your website. View the activity blocks on the site to be sure that they look as you want them to.
5. Check the tags displaying on the website
- Visit your site to make sure the tags/taxonomies look correct on the Activity Blocks, and the Activity Page under the Quick Details section.
How to edit an individual taxonomy option on the backend
If you want to add or remove a new duration option, you will select the ‘Edit Duration Taxonomy.’
A new page will load for the Duration taxonomy. You will see a list of all the duration taxonomies that you have set up on the backend. You can edit or delete any current taxonomies by hovering the mouse near the option.
If you want to create a new tag for the duration taxonomy, you will scroll below the list until you see the Add New Tag section. From there, you will create the Name for the tag, and the Slug, and then scroll below until you see the blue Add New Tag button – this will add the tag to the rest of your duration taxonomies list.
How to add or remove taxonomy categories on the backend
Navigate to the Settings > Activity Settings on the menu bar. From there, select the Taxonomies tab. You will see a list of all the current taxonomies. From here you can remove a taxonomy by removing the row, and then selecting the Update button on the right.
To add a new Taxonomy category, scroll below all of the Taxonomies on the page and select the blue Create New Taxonomy button. Create a Name, and update. The Taxonomy category will then be added to the Activities section, where you can edit it to create individual tags.
Tags/Quick Details on Activity Pages
The Tags/Taxonomy categories that are created for your Activity Blocks will also be displayed on the Activity Page under the Quick Details section. For your Activity Page, you can also include additional quick details to be displayed on your website. In the Activity Page screenshot below, you can see the Taxonomies that are selected on the backend listed first, along with two Quick Details examples that were added.
To add Quick Details to your activity pages on the backend, navigate to the desired Activity Page, click the Description tab, and scroll to view Quick Detail info. You will be able to select an icon of your choice, and add your description. See the screenshot below that highlights this Quick Detail Info area:
