Running reports across multiple Dashboards
Last updated: January 12, 2024
If you work with multiple FareHarbor Dashboards as an outside user, you can compare data from all Dashboards you have access to in a single report. To do this, you will need to have Owner or Director-level permissions on each Dashboard you want to report on.
Note: If you’re having trouble completing any of the steps below, contact FareHarbor Support to ensure your account is set up correctly.
To run a report across multiple Dashboards:
Log into your primary Dashboard.
Go to the Reports section and choose from the list of Advanced reports.

Below the date range settings, you should see a list of each Dashboard you have access to. (If you don’t see this option, you may need to open the report’s advanced settings.)

For each Dashboard you want to report on, check the box Bookings for you.
Optional: Add filters. Filters can be added to your entire report, or to individual Dashboards.

Optional: In the Group by section, select Company and drag it to the top of the list. This will organize the data in your report by Dashboard.

In the last section of the report settings, add or remove columns based on the information you want to see.
Click Generate to run your report.
Example
In the below example, the generated report shows a summary of booking information for two different Dashboards: Adventure Extreme and Island Tours and Activities.

Multi-dashboard reporting cannot be done while logged in as a FH Admin. To run a multi-dash report on a demo dash, follow the steps below.
- Go to the demo Dashboard and create a user with Director permissions
- Add another company as an outside user (add a specific user or leave the Username field blank to grant access to all users for the company)
- Log into the company’s Dashboard with the Director user you just created (If you don’t want to log out of the Admin Dashboard, you can use an incognito window)
- Go to the Reports section and choose an Advanced report
- In the first column, scroll down and select which companies to report on
- Adjust filters, groupings, and columns as necessary, then generate the report
See an example of what the generated report will look like on this demo dash (make sure you’re logged in as a Director).
Multi-dashboard reporting with multiple currencies
- When running a report across multiple dashboards with different currencies, the first thing that will broken out in the report, regardless of selected fields, is currency.

Notes
- Ensure that the “All advanced reports” permission is enabled for the Director permission group on all related Dashboards.
