Recommended image sizes

When providing the FareHarbor team with updated content or uploading images yourself, we recommend following these guidelines for best results.
Logo
For best results, your logo should be saved as a .png file with a transparent background, and at least 250 pixels wide. We recommend using a logo that’s easily visible on a white background.
Your logo will be displayed at the top of printed receipts and automated emails sent from FareHarbor. Here’s an example of a logo at the top of a customer’s confirmation email:

Item photos
When uploading item photos, we recommend choosing landscape-oriented photos (or photos that can be cropped into a landscape format), with a width of 700 pixels or more.
Item photos are used in a variety of ways. Depending on how your website is set up, they may be displayed on your homepage or booking page, and throughout FareHarbor’s online booking process.

Email images
You can include additional images in your confirmation emails by adding them to your confirmation notes. Learn more about adding images to confirmation notes.
For email images, we recommend images with a width of 1300 pixels. Keep in mind that some images may be harder to read on mobile devices (this may be the case, for example, if the image is much wider than it is tall). We recommend previewing your emails on a mobile device to make sure you can read all text.

Custom field images
You can include additional images in your book form by adding them to custom field descriptions. For example, if you offer add-ons like snorkeling gear or a lunch package, you can include an image to give customers a better idea of what they’re purchasing.
To add an image to a custom field, use the Upload image or file option under the custom field’s description. Learn more about editing custom fields..
Images will be resized to fit the book form, but for best results we recommend landscape-oriented photos with a width of around 600 pixels.

Email headers
To achieve an “email header” effect in confirmation emails, upload a 1300x280px image as the company’s primary logo. It will look something like this:

FareHarbor Profiles
Some FareHarbor companies also have their own FareHarbor Profiles, but this feature has since been deprecated. Those FareHarbor companies that were already relying on their FareHarbor Profiles, which can be used as either their primary booking website or a backup in case their site can’t be reached, will remain supported. For companies with FareHarbor Profiles, their logos will also be displayed at the top of their FareHarbor Profile, and looks best with a transparent background:
