How to enable TourAdvantage
Last updated: March 17, 2025
If the client has a question about the connection that can best be answered by the partner, encourage them to contact their account representative or their support team at info@sunstonedigitalmarketing.com.
Follow the steps below to enable the TourAdvantage (powered by Sunstone Digital Marketing) integration in a client’s Dashboard. All we need from the client to initiate this process is their confirmation that they are working with TourAdvantage and would like to connect with FareHarbor. Clients should be directing this request to FareHarbor Support, but setting this up is easy; and anyone can do it.
Note: If you are speaking to a client who is interested in learning more about TourAdvantage, please share this link with them. You can learn more about the partnership here.
Setup
- Go to the client’s Dashboard and create a new User called “TourAdvantage Webhook” Give this user the highest permission group available.

- From the “TourAdvantage Webhook” user’s settings, navigate to the Webhook tab. Add a new webhook, and name it “TourAdvantage Webhook.” Select the “Bookings only” Schema. Paste the URL mentioned in the ticket, the last number on the URL change for every dashboard. Consider them TourAdvantage’s ID.

Trigger the Webhook for existing bookings. Follow the steps here.
Once this is done, send an email to the client with Sunstone Customer Success cc’d info@sunstonedigitalmarketing.com to confirm the integration has been enabled on FareHarbor’s end. In this email, you must also indicate the client’s FareHarbor shortname. The shortname is how Sunstone will know how to identify the client’s bookings – so it is essential to share that with them.
Triggering the webhook for existing bookings
The webhook will automatically send PicThrive for every booking moving forward, but action is still required in FareHarbor to send PicThrive for any existing bookings for future dates. Here are the necessary next steps to ensure that we send PicThrive for every future booking they need in their system.
Run a report to see existing bookings for future dates. Run a Detailed Bookings report in the charter company’s Dashboard to see all bookings for future availability dates. It is best to select a custom date range starting with today’s date and ending with two years from that date (or as far out as that company has future bookings).
Initiating the webhook for each future bookings: The Business Intelligence script can automate webhooks for companies with 100 or more future bookings (if there are fewer than 100 future bookings, follow these steps instead). To send an automation request to the Business Intelligence team:
a. Click the Share button within your report, and copy the unique report URL:

b. Paste that report URL into a FareHarbor Automation submission request form.
c. In the Select Automation Type field, select Webhook Update.
d. In the Date, automation can start field, enter today’s date.
e. In the Maximum date of completion field, enter 5 pm of the next business day.
f. In the Link to FareHarbor report of bookings field, paste the URL of your future bookings report.
g. Reference this help page for more information about submitting this type of form.
Manually initiating the webhook when there are fewer than 100 future reservations
When there are fewer than 100 future reservations, the webhook can be triggered by opening each booking in the report and “touching” the booking:
- Open the booking and click Edit contact.
- Remove and re-add the contact information by cutting and pasting.
- Save your changes to trigger the webhook.
How to check if the TourAdvantage webhook is active
- Check if the client’s dashboard has a “TourAdvantage” User, and check that the Webhook URL in their API Key matches the TourAdvantage Webhook URL pasted above.
- Webhook activity will also be shown within the history of each booking in that Dashboard. For example, after a booking is created, the next event in that booking history should read: External API Booking Webhook request succeeded (TourAdvantage Webhook).
Note: All webhook activities in a booking are visible to Admins only.
