The Learning, Development & Culture (LD&C) team is committed to supporting employee development in their current roles and towards their professional growth and future career aspirations, through role and competency-specific resources (coming in the second half of 2024!).
Odyssey Skills Development is a FareHarbor learning initiative aimed to promote employee professional skill growth. Like an odyssey, learning is a life-long adventure that YOU control the direction of. Drive your development by taking advantage of all the opportunities Odyssey offers!

Tune into #be_curious_and_learn, FareHarbor’s internal learning community, for skill development learning opportunities, following the 70-20-10 approach to learning. These learning opportunities will include:
Experience (70%)
- Guidance for on-the-job learning
Exposure (20%)
- Examples of learning something new from / through others (e.g. collaboration, shadowing, mentoring, coaching, social learning)
Formal Learning (10%)
- Targeted learning initiatives and development programs
- Self-directed, skills-based resources to complete based on your Development Goals
- Live workshops and webinars on various soft and hard skills
- Access to learning platforms
Development Map
Use the Development Map to:
- Guide you through assessing your current skills, brainstorming short and long-term development goals, and mapping out development goal and learning opportunities that you plan to complete
- Assist you in entering your development goal and regularly recording your completed learnings tied to these goals in Workday
- Discuss your development with your manager
