Elfsight Widgets
Last updated: September 17, 2025
Elfsight is a new product that the FareHarbor sites team can utilize for various things such as live review feeds, social media feeds, weather feeds and more.
Qualifications by Site Package
The widgets that are available to clients are based on the client’s paid site package. When you’re adding a widget to a client’s website, make sure to check which package they are on to ensure they qualify for the widget they’ve requested:
- Web Lite: Will not get access to Elfsight widgets
- Essential (Web Core + SEO Silver), Web Core & Subsidized Enterprise: Can use any of the social media or review widgets
- Growth (Web Core + SEO Gold): Can use any widget available on Elfsight
- Enterprise clients with a Gold SEO package can get all widgets.
- Premier: Can use any widget available on Eflsight as well as the AI chatbot

- Elfsight access is currently for the sites team. If you need a widget edited or added for a client, please reach out to the onboarding team (for pre-live sites) or the LSS team (for live sites).

- Use Keeper to fill in the email and password
- You should now be logged in!
Creating a Widget
Creating widgets is restricted to FH Employees. If you’re a Sophi agent who is needing a widget created, please reach out to the PC on your project!
- Once logged in, navigate to the Projects tab on the top of the page. Choose the Project folder that’s associated with the package the client is on (Essential, Growth or Premier/Enterprise).
- Click “Create Widget”
- Choose the widget from the Apps Catalog (keep in mind Essential package clients can only use widgets included in the categories “Social” and “Reviews”)

- Elfisight should walk you through the details needed for each app.
- For example, for the Google Reviews app, you’ll need to know the business name and address as they appear on Google.
- Once you’ve edited the style of the widget to the client’s preferences, click “Publish” and then click “Close” to exit the editor.
- Click the three dots on the widget and choose “Rename widget”

- Name the widget using the domain where the widget will be located and the page the widget will be used on. This will help us find the widget in the future if adjustments need to be made.

Editing a Widget
Sophi Agents
If you need to edit the style of a widget, login to Elfisight and find the “Shared with Me” section.

All other FHS employees
If you need to edit the style of a widget, login to Elfisight and find the “Projects” section. Select project based on the package the client has paid for.

Within these sections, you should be able to find the widget that you need to edit based on the name of the website and the type of widget it is. For example, a review widget for FareHarbor should be labeled “fareharbor.com – homepage reviews”.
If you are publishing a review widget on the homepage of a site, we always want to turn on the AI-generated Summary. To do that, click edit on the widget, make sure you’re on the “Sources” tab and then toggle on the AI-generated Summary option.
