SEOQuake
SEOquake is a free plugin that provides you with key SEO metrics, along with other useful tools such as SEO Audit, and many others.
SEOquake allows you to:
- Review all major metrics quickly
- Get a thorough analysis of SERPs and export the results in CSV format
- Estimate keyword difficulty instantly
- Set parameters for a search query
- Run a complete SEO audit of a webpage, including a check for mobile compatibility
- Check your social statistics for Facebook and Google+
- Use a wide range of default parameters OR create a custom set
- Get a full report for internal/external links
- Determine a keyword’s density and configure a stop-word list
- Compare URLs/domains
SEOquake consists of several tools you can use depending on which specific SEO endeavors you’re pursuing. The SEO bar is an additional toolbar located at the top of the browser window, and it presents core metrics – a number of which can be customized.
The SERP overlay is a bar that appears below each SERP result. Once enabled, it gives you detailed metrics associated with each listing along with another sidebar section that allows you to sort and export your results.

- How does it compare to other tools?
- This shows different search engine rankings in addition to SEMrush. It also can tie in social media statistics. It is not going to be a keyword research tool like SEMrush’s Keyword Magic Tool, but it is good for reading the stats of a live site.
- This also has other tools, like Mobile Friendly testing, and validation of CSS. How to use the tool:
- Chrome extension, downloadable at the link above, needs to be enabled or left on. There is a toggle in the top right of the interface window.
- Behind the Page Info, which is the opening view, there are several other tools, including Page Diagnosis, Internal and External Links. This opens an actual webpage that operates these tools, so some functionalities are not available in the Chrome extension.
- This is a configurable dashboard, where you can see search volume by the different search engines, including numbers that could be pulled from SEMRush
- Some info links will open directly into SEMRush or the other tools
- The overlay bar can be enabled to avoid opening the extension window each time. This overlap has a Settings button on far right (if the overlay is in the top position). There are many settings, including light/dark mode, more display options, and positioning of the overlay bar. There is a More Settings link in the overlay settings where you can configure the Whitelist and Excluded list.

SEO META in 1 Click
Displays all metadata and main SEO information
SEO META in 1 CLICK is a tool that displays all meta tags/data and main SEO information clearly.
- This focuses on displaying:
- Title and its length,
- Description and its length,
- URL (and meta-canonical URL too),
- Meta-robots,
- Displaying headers in order of their appearance in HTML (H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6),
- Number of images with and without ALT text,
- The number of links (internal, unique, etc.)
- Open Graph and Twitter social data
- Robots.txt and sitemap.xml
- And much more…
- How does it compare to other tools?
- It’s a great way to get a quick & complete rundown of a page, but does not pull search rankings like SEOQuake
- When should I use it?
- Use SEO 1 Click to quickly see the condition of a site’s metadata when we’re going to be writing recommendations for the audits. This should also narrow down the focus of the SEMRush searches.
- How do you use the tool
- Chrome extension, downloadable at the link above, does not need to be turned on to use.
