Removing an Affiliate
Last updated: July 1, 2025
If a client calls and asks to remove one of their affiliates, please follow the below steps:
Remove the permission group of the affiliate. If the affiliate has a login to FareHarbor, this will immediately remove their ability to book into the client’s Dashboard.
Delete the affiliate.
To find out when an affiliate was deleted, go to the charter Dashboard settings and select ‘Recent Activity’.
Affiliates that have been removed from the Dashboard can still be reported on and invoiced. In reports, they will populate at the bottom of the affiliate list with “(deleted)” listed after their name.
When an affiliate is added back to the Dashboard their history will be shown in their settings, allowing you to see the price sheets and settings they were using prior to removal.
Best Practices
Either the charter or the affiliate can request to end the relationship, and no further confirmation from the charter is needed if an affiliate makes the request. It is not necessary to notify the other party that the affiliate has been removed.
