Detailed Bookings report
Last updated: January 15, 2024
The Detailed Bookings report is a legacy report. We recommend using the Booking Details report instead, which you can find in the reports menu under Advanced > Bookings. Learn more about Advanced reports.
The Detailed Bookings report lists all bookings that were made in a specific date range, along with detailed information for each booking. You can also choose to download this report with custom field or payment zip code information for further analysis.
To locate this report, navigate to the Reports section of your Dashboard. The Detailed Bookings report will be located in the Reports menu, under Bookings.
Filter and display options
Before generating your report, be sure to select the correct date range and date range type. You can also narrow down your data using the Filters menu. Learn more about each option below.

“Report on bookings made for”
Choose whether to report on bookings that have been made for your company or bookings you’ve made for partner companies. If reporting on partner company bookings, you’ll also see any bookings created by partners that you are tagged as an affiliate on.
Booking source
By default, the Detailed Bookings report does not include affiliate bookings. You can view bookings made by a particular affiliate by choosing a company from the Booking source dropdown. You can also include bookings made by all affiliates by clicking the ‘X’ next to the current selection.
Created by
Use the Created by dropdown to find only bookings that were made by a particular user.
Cancelled bookings
Filter bookings from reports based on if they have been cancelled or not. There are several options available in the Cancelled bookings to include dropdown:
- No cancelled bookings: Includes only bookings that have not been cancelled
- Cancelled bookings with > 0 paid (default): Includes cancelled bookings only if they have payment on them
- All cancelled bookings: Includes all bookings, regardless of whether they have been cancelled or not
- Only cancelled bookings: Includes only bookings that have been cancelled
Other options
You can also choose to include customer contact information and online booking references when you generate your report.
To do this, select Include customer phone and email and/or Include online booking reference in the Other options menu.

Report columns
This report includes most of the available columns for bookings, so we recommend reviewing the important reporting terms and general report options to learn more about your options.
Extra information in CSV download
When you download your Detailed Bookings report into a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file, we include some extra information for you, in addition to the columns you see in your Dashboard. The following extra information is always included:
- Last rebooked at: Date and time of the most recent rebooking (if applicable)
- Customer phone number
- Customer email address
- Subscribed to email?: If the customer opted in to the “Receive future email updates from this company” checkbox while booking online, or if you checked the box for them
- Booking notes
- Online booking reference
Optional extra information
You can also choose to include payment and custom field information for each booking when you download your report. This will add an additional column for each of your custom fields, and a column with the zip codes of each credit card payment you took (if available).
To download the Detailed Bookings report with this information, check the Export payments and custom fields checkbox in the Other options menu, then click Generate to run the report.

Note: Running a report with this option enabled may take a while due to the large amount of data.
Once the report has completed, the on-screen display won’t be changed. But when you click the Download button, the additional columns will be included.
Internal-only content. Don't copy and paste to anyone.
For Dashboards created on 2/22/2017 and after, this report will be hidden by default, along with all other legacy reports.
To enable or disable legacy reports, go to Settings > Info & Policies > Advanced. Click edit and check/uncheck the “Enable legacy reports” box.
Note: On 2/14/2019, FareHarbor code dropped support for legacy option custom fields. You can, however, still run reports on the data in these legacy fields. When running a Detailed Bookings report for the legacy option custom field, note that the export of the report will place each option in its own column (previously, all options were placed in the same column).
