Disabling Tripadvisor Review Express
Last updated: October 14, 2022
As of September 6th, 2022 we have ended the Tripadvisor Review Express (TARX) partnership. We do not support any new TARX setups.
Disabling Review Express
For a single booking
If a client just wants to ensure Review Express emails aren’t sent to a specific customer, they can use the “Review Express: mark as no-show” option on the booking.
Click the gear symbol next to the Send email or text button and check the “Review Express: mark as no-show” box.

For an item
To disable Review Express for a specific item:
- Go to the item’s settings and select Integrations.
- Go to the Review Express tab.
- Click the Edit button.
- Uncheck the “Enable Review Express” box and save your changes.

Disabling Review Express entirely
Review Express cannot be disabled at the location or company level, but you can prevent Review Express emails from going out by disabling the feature in each item’s settings. See above.
Notes about disabling Review Express
- Locations will remain active.
- Emails due to be sent on the day Review Express is disabled will likely still go out.
If there’s a fire drill and customer wants to disable Review Express AND make sure no more emails are ever sent out:
- Mark all bookings for the day as “Review express: Mark as no-show”
- Uncheck the Enable Review Express setting on the item for each item
