2021 Booking Date Terminology Updates
Last updated: January 27, 2021
To make sure terminology is consistent and clear across the Dashboard, we’ve updated some of the terms you might be used to seeing in reports, bookings, and the manifest. Terms related to original booking date are now referred to as booking created date, and terms related to rebooking dates are now referred to as last booked date.
You’ll see these changes reflected across different locations in your Dashboard. Read more in the sections for each location below.
Note: If you are using automated tasks such as macros or webhooks that rely on the following terms, please review and update accordingly.

FAQs
Why did we make this change?
Previously, some of the terms that appeared in reports may have been ambiguous (for example, “booking date”). This update makes it clearer throughout the Dashboard when we are referring to booking creation date vs. last booked date. Similarly, terms that relate to users (“created by”, “last booked by”) have been updated to keep things consistent across the board.
Does “last booked date” always refer to rebooking?
Usually. But “last booked date” also relates to bookings where customers were added or removed, because technically that is a form of rebooking. If a booking was not rebooked and customers have not been added or removed, the “last booked date” information will be the same as the “booking created date”.
What else was updated?

A note on capitalization: For these updates, we followed the capitalization rules that are currently in place. Generally, report filters/groupings/columns use title case, meaning all words longer than three letters start with a capital letter (one anomaly is groupings on the generated report, which is on our list to update). What may seem like capitalization inconsistencies for phrases like “Last Rebooked At” and “Last Rebooked at Time” are actually correct; when using title case, the word ‘at’ is capitalized if it’s the last word of the phrase, otherwise it’s lowercase.
Dropdown values generally use sentence case, where only the first word is capitalized.
