Reporting on Private Events

Private Events is only available to businesses based in North America.
The Private Events feature allows you to create and manage custom events and charters. This feature helps improve the experience for businesses and customers alike, streamlining workflows such as client intake, event management, contract management, and invoicing.

Prerequisites
The Private Events feature must be enabled for your Dashboard.
Reporting on private event statuses
Once the Private Events feature is enabled for your Dashboard, the following private event filters will be available for the Bookings report:
- Contract Status
- Payment schedule status
- Proposal Status
These filters can be used to dictate which bookings will be included in the Bookings report, based upon these private event statuses.
Contract Status
To view data on bookings based upon whether the contract has been signed or not, add the Contract Status filter via the Filter section of the Advanced reporting menu.
Check the box next to the contract status you want to view data for, then click the Save button to add the filter to your report.

Payment schedule status
To view data on bookings based upon payment schedule status, add the Payment schedule status filter via the Filter section of the Advanced reporting menu. This filter allows you to refine booking results based on any combination of the following payment statuses:
- Payment due
- Payment overdue
- Payment paid
- Payment upcoming
Check the box next to the payment schedule status(es) you want to view data for, then click the Save button to add the filter to your report.

Proposal Status
To view data on private event bookings based upon whether they are confirmed or unconfirmed, add the Proposal Status filter via the Filter section of the Advanced reporting menu.
Check the box next to the contract status you want to view data for, then click the Save button to add the filter to your report.

Reporting on custom field tags
Once the Private Events feature is enabled for your Dashboard, the Custom Field Answers report data can be filtered or grouped by custom field tag.
Filtering by tag
To view data on custom fields based upon whether they are associated with specific tags, add the Tag filter via the Filter section of the Advanced reporting menu.
Check the box next to custom field tags you want to view data for, then click the Save button to add the filter to your report.

Grouping results by tag
To group report data based upon tag, check the Custom Field Tag option via the Group by section of the Advanced reporting menu.

Adding status columns to a Booking report
Add private event status columns to new or existing Bookings reports for increased visibility of contract or proposal statuses.
Available private event columns include:
- Proposal Status
- Contract Status
Add a private event status column via the All subtab in the Columns section of your report.
Check the box next to the statuses you want included in the report, then click the Generate button to refresh the report.
